- Manage and develop production staff to ensure excellent execution of their daily duties, always with an eye toward hitting stated targets.
- Foster an environment where production staff feels accountable and cared for.
- Promote an ethos of excitement about efficiency, accuracy, and profitability as well as a discontentment with waste, inefficiency, and inaccuracy.
- Oversee and inform the direction of production workflows, raising any needs or improvement ideas to the engineering team.
- Lead the hiring and retention efforts for top talent in the Production teams.
- Develop and execute on a plan for material and time waste reduction for all raw materials and all processes, including advocating for appropriate resources needed that will enable a more lean, cost-effective, and profitable production environment.
- Manage stored finished parts within the realities of limited space and budget.
- Own and lead the safety initiatives on the production floor.
- Advocate for appropriate incentive plans for production staff.
- Work with the CFO/COO to create departmental budgets tied to departmental goals and with an eye toward stewarding the company’s overall budget.
- Contribute to strategic planning and company leadership meetings as requested.
- A fundamental understanding of lean manufacturing in a robotics-driven plant
- 7+ years of experience in a factory setting
- 5+ of experience in managing direct reports or project teams.
- 3+ years of experience with automated machinery and mobile heavy machinery
- Working knowledge of workplace software (e.g., Google Workplace, Microsoft Office)
- Demonstrably professional communication and documentation skills
- Undergraduate degree in business operations, management, or equivalent
- Working knowledge of digital modeling software (e.g., Rhino, Catia, SolidWorks)
- Experience in building construction
- Fluency in at least one language other than English
- Lean Six Sigma certification.

- Accompany the printing robots during production cycles in order to accomplish daily targets.
- Have an “always learning” mindset to continuously improve your understanding of the robots, their programming language, and their specific functionality in our factory.
- Perform real-time quality control on print parts, both structural and aesthetic.
- Log and report all relevant production and QC data as well as any known or perceived issues with the printing robots, materials, or environment.
- Promptly report any safety, quality, productivity, or maintenance issues to the appropriate internal team.
- Participate in departmental continuous improvement efforts and support lean initiatives.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness in all work areas.
- Assist with logistics of moving parts between work areas.
- Help to develop new processes as needed.
- Cross-train on other production processes as appropriate.
- Perform other duties as directed by management.
- 2+ years of work experience in a manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including early start times or late end times.
- Ability to process large amounts of visual information.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 75 lbs
- Verbal and written proficiency with the English language
- Fundamental knowledge of common factory tools
- Experience using Kuka robots.
- Experience operating forklifts

- Undergraduate and/or graduate degree in Architecture, Design, or related field
- Advanced parametric 3D modeling proficiencies in Rhino, Grasshopper, and Revit
- Advanced rendering proficiencies in software such as Enscape or Lumeon
- Proficiencies in 3D modeling software (e.g., CAD, Maya, 3DSMax, SketchUp)
- Advanced knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Ability to read, understand, and prepare construction documents including technical details.
- Demonstrably strong visual and verbal communication skills
- Ability to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development.
- Ability to independently research and problem solve technical challenges.
- Experience in a direct digital fabrication setting that includes 3D-printing, laser cutting, robotics, CNC milling, and metal fabrication.
- Working knowledge of common office programs (e.g., Google Workplace, MS Office)
- Experience working in a startup environment.
