TDOT’s Update on the Impact of Freight to Tennessee and the Region

Tennessee is expecting 34% additional growth in Tennessee by the year 2040.  How Tennessee deals with the impact of this growth on infrastructure, urban freight deliveries, and technology will impact economic growth, quality of life and opportunities for Tennessee in the future.  Dan will speak on the Freight and Logistics Program within the state and the Multimodal Transportation Resources Division; the presentation will discuss several programs to help with diversions of freight, reduce congestion, improve throughput, enhance the quality of life in  communities and programs on how to increase private sector participation to impact the future of all Tennesseans.
