Guided Tour of Shaw Industries Distribution Center
Join the Chattanooga Regional Manufacturing Association and the UTC Center for Professional Education for a tour of the Shaw Industries Distribution Center in Calhoun, Georgia.
This facilitated tour will focus on how a local company, located primarily in NW Georgia and SE Tennessee, distributes a diverse portfolio of flooring products to a global market.
Chris Barnes, warehousing and distribution expert, and UTC Supply Chain Instructor, will lead the guided tour and discuss practical application of distribution best practices used in the facility.
The tour will be interactive, so come prepared to engage and learn more about out-bound supply chain principles.
